Our favourite restaurant in Weimar. The food is delicious and yet fairly priced. The staff is friendly and the location is central, quiet and atmospheric - you can either eat inside the restaurant or in a lovely, green, quiet courtyard, just a few steps from the Frauenplan/Goethe house. We appreciated that they offer cooked lunch (Mittagsmenu) this year, a great option if you prefer to dine at lunch time.

A superb experience in the center of the city, in an elegant courtyard in front of Goethe's house. The quality of the ingredients is outstanding, the service friendly and professional, the selection of wines is very interesting. The deer with mushrooms and dumplings is pure perfection.

Lovely spot for a lunch. Portion size left me feeling a bit wanting. One of the sides being three pieces of bread with a breaded "pork steak" seemed odd. No sauce or anything to dip the bread slices into. Bites of bread with schnitzel--delicious but lacking a bit. Still, the schnitzel was excellent. Location on the patio was lovely and I'm sure it's a great spot when they have live music playing. That being said, the portion size seemed rather small by German standards.

Bistro..perfect meal. Very reasonable pricing. Timing between 12:00 and 15:00. Two persons with drinks, meals total 23 Euro, which was most expensive on menu
